Mike Distler, DC, CCSP®

Dr. Mike Distler received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree with Honors from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls, NY. Dr. Mike is a board-certified chiropractic sports physician who specializes in the treatment of elite athletes at the youth, collegiate, and professional levels in collaboration with conventional medical healthcare, complementary medicine, and athletic performance training. Prior to his current position, Dr. Mike practiced in West Chester, PA as a provider for the Philadelphia Union and Philadelphia Union II as well as in Brooklyn, NY at an integrative medical, movement, and wellness center that provided care for the Brooklyn Nets and the Barclays Center. He is certified in a variety of manual therapy techniques and functional movement evaluation methods with specialties in sports injury and rehabilitation, including Active Release Techniques (ART), Kinesio Taping, Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab (FAKTR), Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). He is also certified with the Titleist Performance Institute to treat golf-specific injuries and provide golf-specific rehabilitation to improve player performance. Prior to chiropractic school, Dr. Mike graduated from Haverford College where he was an All-American, Scholar All-American, and 2-time captain for the Men’s Lacrosse Team.

Dr. Mike grew up in Redding, CT and played lacrosse and football for Joel Barlow High School. He currently lives in Moorestown with his wife, Kathryn, and enjoys golfing, coaching lacrosse, and spending time at the shore.
