Currently we accept cash, check, or credit card. We do not accept any insurance plans.
Does Cryotherapy hurt?
Clients have reported a tingling sensation at the beginning of the session, especially in thigh and calf areas, not unlike that experienced while using superficial ice.
What are the benefits of cryotherapy?
There are many claims regarding the benefits of cryotherapy. The most commonly reported are a reduction in muscle soreness, a decrease in inflammation, an increase in energy, and an improved quality of sleep.
How cold does the Cryochamber get and how long is a session?
The chamber operates between -60°C and -140°C for three (3) minutes.
What do I wear in the chamber?
Each person is required to wear their undergarments during a WBC session. You will also wear warm boots and gloves to cover your feet and hands.
Do I need to bring my own robe, socks, shoes, and gloves?
No. We provide robes, socks, gloves, and shoes. Please keep in mind that we house women’s shoe sizes 5 to 11 and men’s shoe sizes 8 to 14. If you require sizes outside of those ranges, please bring your own fleece lined slippers/shoes and socks.
Is there a weight limit?
Yes, the maximum weight for the Juka Cryosauna is 350 pounds.
Am I left alone during the three minute session?
No. You are given a few minutes alone to get ready for the session; once you are ready, the operator will enter the room and start the session for you. The operator will remain in the room next to the cryosauna for the duration of the three minute session. At completion of the session, the operator will hand you your robe and exit the room.
What are the contraindications for cryotherapy?
Pregnancy, untreated hypertension, history of heart attack or stroke, unstable angina, prior open-heart surgery, pacemaker, COPD, chronic liver disease, DVT, Raynaud’s Disease, active infection, vasculitis, severe anemia, diabetes, acute kidney/urinary tract disease, polyneuropathy, and seizure disorders.
What is Normatec used for?
NormaTec is used for muscle recovery after exercise.
How long does a session last?
Each session is booked for 30 minutes. The equipment allows for two (2) users at a time. If you desire more time, you may book back-to-back sessions.
