Dr. Shane McCann received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida. Dr. Shane has experience treating athletes and patients of all walks of life and has advanced training in Active Release Technique, Graston Technique, and the Fascial Distortion Model – the gold-standards in soft-tissue assessment and treatment, which are used in almost all professional sports. He has also completed continuing education in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment, Postural Restoration Institute, Neurokinetic Therapy, RockTape, Functional Range Conditioning, chiropractic care for golfers, as well as lumbo-pelvic, thoracic, and cervical mobilization by the Motion Palpation Institute. Prior to Chiropractic school, Dr. Shane attended The University of Delaware where he was the President of the Men’s Club Lacrosse Team and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Exercise Physiology.

Dr. Shane grew up in Warrington, PA and played lacrosse, basketball, and ran track for Central Bucks East High School. During his spare time he enjoys fishing in Sea Isle City, avidly following Philadelphia sports teams, coaching Haddon Township high school lacrosse, and spending time with his wife Jamie, son Keegan, and his four-legged sidekick, Rambler.
